It was reported that many couples around the world were married that Sunday morning...most in Vegas and So. Korea. 7000 in South Korea, but in Vegas there were many chapels breaking their own records marrying couples. I, myself, even planned a wedding at 830AM for my cousin. She married at The Little White Wedding Chapel and it was a quick ceremony, but I witnessed many going through the drive-thru, many walking into the chapel itself, couples waiting outside lined up to be married on 10-10-10. It was a special day for many and to those who got married on 10-10-10...CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Weddings Galore
Do you make a small anouncement with a big bang? Do you plan a big ceremony with a small reception? Or a small ceremony with a big reception?
who knows?! The ideas are limitless and whats even better is that you can have your dream wedding how YOU want it.
Most brides have been dreaming about this since they were kids and trying on wedding dresses without an engagement ring and planning weddings after the 3rd date. The real thing is here and now...what?
No worries. There are many online sites that help with the struggle of the first step. Some are more efficient than others but every woman has a bride gene and it comes out after that first step is done!
Take a deep breath and write down your wants vs. your needs. Your dream wedding vs. what your budget is allowing. Take time to write down everything that you might possible consider or wont consider, maybe that may be the wedding you get.
Enjoy this time and relish in the happiness of being engaged, in love and ready to live with someone you adore.

Planning while sick!
Sometimes being a bride means handling everything, even while you're sick. Its always good to take time for yourself. Have your fiance or loved one cater to your needs. Make sure to give yourself SOME time to relax and simply enjoy the engagement, sick or not.
Getting sick once while engaged is no fun...but being sick, over worked, tired, angry and just plain...sick...doesnt really help any one.
So remember: take time for the bride. You may stick it out and do some things for your wedding but remember it'll be there

Couples all over the world are marking this date down. To be married on october 10, 2010 is going to make waves. Vegas itself is getting reservations in for all types of bridal couples making this date their own!

Hello to you all!
Just wanted to post an introduction about myself and my business. My name is Erika and I own By Designs Weddings & Events. We are a bridal and corporate event planning business and I love planning events. From small galas to personalized weddings.
I decided to get a blog started with wedding tips, ideas, concerns and questions from followers, etc. Just to keep todays bride up to date and be proactive in the community.
I am a wedding planner in the Denver and Colorado Springs, Co area. I do have a small office in KCMO and in PHX. I love wedding and event planning and I hope to open more larger offices in other places. I want to be a choice all brides think of when they get engaged.
